In and around the intimacy of Sauna Never Dry, Dani will be sharing pressing issues and research around her forthcoming piece GUT MATTERS. This is not an artist talk, however. By welcoming us to perceive our bodies as porous, multitudinous sites, by embracing vulnerability around trauma, abuse, (mental) health and their political impact, she remixes the political with the spiritual, the scientific with the erotic. This evening is an invitation to sweat and grieve together, to allow our various insides and outsides to melt away the illusion of separateness. As in all of Dani's works and practices, ‘Holes and Gut Matters’ rehearses and insists on the possibility of connection.
