The documentary film ‘A Sunday in Hell’ (1976) by the Danish director Jørgen Leth is often touted as ‘the best film about bicycle racing of all time’. Leth follows the spectators, organisers and, of course, the participants of the cobblestone classic Paris-Roubaix, from the starting shot to the post-race showers.
