Niels Latomme was for a long time one of the driving forces behind the KRAAK label. Now this avant-garde music fanatic runs his own tape label, Beyt al Tapes. For this conceptual musical performance Latomme will play his modular synths from astride his bicycle. He’ll create a quadrophonic soundscape reminiscent of Laurie Spiegel while performing high-intensity interval training (no joke). In this way the almost-meditative music is presented in astonishing juxtaposition with the exhausted musician, having just completed the cobblestone version of the Mont Ventoux ascent.
