Prison Religion is a collaboration between Poozy and False Prpht, two audiovisual artists from Richmond, Virginia. Since 2016 they’ve been experimenting with explosive trap music and devastating club music. Prison Religion are with the experimental Texan label Halcyon Veil and have worked with like minds (and violent spirits) Rabit, Endgame, Swan Meat, Lee Gamble and Bonaventure. Their live performances are a dark and pure eruption of pumping industrial beats punctuated by raging, mid-rave screamo-rap. Prison Religion comes as a prophecy of a new kind of vocal-based club performance.
