Trésor is the new pop project from Aurélie Müller (Blondy Brownie) and Daniel Hofferman (Girls in Hawaii). It started out at the bottom of a load of free glasses of wine at some art event or other. Their shared love for Françoise Hardy’s chansons, the legendary German producer Conny Plank and the iconic synth magic of Jacno inspired the duo to record six tracks in as many days, incorporating their own influences as well as those of their idols. The result: modern synthpop with French-German lyrics. In anticipation of the first Trésor album, we can already gather together on our rooftop to enjoy a first taste of this neue-neuf-new Sommer Soundtrack d’eté.
