BRYN (sounds like “brain”) is 19 years old and is already putting out mature, layered synth-pop. Seven years ago he fled from Rwanda, ended up in a Brussels centre for asylum seekers, and – against the advice of his parents and teachers – started chasing his musical dreams. In 2011 BRYN wrote his first song. In 2013 he taught himself how to play the guitar and later the synthesiser, after receiving one from a friend. With his new instruments he composed his debut single, the pathos-infused ‘Take Me There’. On the opening night of Out Loud BRYN will perform brand-spanking-new material in our Zilveren Zaal.
