ABIGAIL ALEKSANDER + MAR* SZYDŁOWSKA Skinfold

performance
This is not a performance of arrival. Influenced by Monique Wittig’s book The Lesbian Body, the performers slowly but surely liquefy the rigid frameworks imposed on the body into a mercurial state. With live sound by Hannah Todt.

Maxime Jean-Baptiste — It Would be Alright if He Changed My Name

lecture performance, aftertalk
It begins in darkness. Not just any darkness, but that of the cinema, when the lights go out just before the film begins, when the projection screen doesn’t yet exist, when bodies are audible but not visible, when voices start to speak with/of violence that accumulated for centuries.

Transfocollect + Zinneke — FÊTE PERMANENTE PARASITAIRE

residency, resistance
Our dreams have been stolen from us. Our city has been stolen from us. Our music, our voices, our theatres and our cafés have been stolen from us. Just like all the other places where we meet and share moments together. And so, we are going to take it all back. With joy, anger, love, poetry and absurdity.
