During the two weeks of OUT of LOVE festival, three partner bookstores will set up shop in our lobby to share with you the books that stole and/or broke their hearts. Come discover a selection of books inspired by the festival’s theme, as well as the titles that will feature in the book clubs.

rile* is into poetry, theory, choreography, artist writing and various other text based experiments. rile* organizes performances, meetings, launches, readings... rile* is the base word for silence in Láadan, a feminist constructed language developed by Suzette Haden Elgin in 1982.

Ici sont les lions is a “semi-permanent” bookstore dedicated to African literature, located in the heart of the Marolles. You will find a beautiful selection of African authors and writers from the African diaspora for all audiences, including children’s books, fiction, art books, short story collections, and much more. An impressive and diverse collection in French, English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Lingala, … of which we offer you a small preview during our festival.

Passa Porta Bookshop is an independent bookstore selling books in Dutch, French, English, and German.
