The Book Club concept is quite simple: gathering philosophers to join the table, we get in conversation with each other on said topic, allowing the conversation to steer off course and encouraging free-form discussion. This book club requires no reading, before the session. We select quotes from the books, that touch on subjects/topics of conversation and discuss them, as a group. Euronews called this the 'reverse book club’.

On the prgramme for this edition:

Klara and the Sun, by Kazuo Ishiguro
– explores friendship breakups and heartbreak.

Attached, by Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller
– provides a sociological perspective on attachment styles.

Dream Count, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
– examines heartbreak from four different perspectives.
