Le Motel finally drops his first EP on his own label with great worldly company. Hot stufffffffffff.
Brussels' most cuddly badass and visionary mayor of the dancefloor Le Motel is bringing a crew of fellow pals along (this should be more than enough info for you to get tickets to this sultry conflagration NOW, but please read on).
Maloca is both the name of the community and the accompanying record label that Le Motel founded in 2020. Like everything he does, it's about building organic bridges between electronic and acoustic sounds, between local scenes and global influences and exchanges. Le Motel is releasing his first EP on Maloca Records: Sueños - Spanish for dreams. Sueños sprang from lockdown dreams, trying to tie life and music to a physical experience again. In addition to Le Motel's percussion-driven solo tracks, your dancing legs can expect heavy grime on 'Love Talk Bad' with Logan and glitchy IDM with Cabasa on 'Libet's Delay'. Clara! brings reggaeton flavors to 'Rápido' and Bryte lends his signature vocals to the heavy bass rhythms of 'Wonteeda'.
Clara! hails from Spain and has been rocking Brussels with her futuristic reggaeton collabs ever since she arrived.
Logan is a top-level sprinter (for real) and an equally fast rising star in London's grime, dub and funky scenes with his trademark patois lyrics.
Bryte is a Ghanaian vocalist based in the UK and both a heavy and fresh player of the call & answer freestyle genre.
A set by Brussels-based producer Cabasa sounds like voodoo trying to solve a Rubik's cube.
