Martin Schick & Damir Todorović Holiday on Stage

Martin Schick has become a familiar face. He appeared for the first time in the focus programme I Fail Good with CMMN SNS PRJCT, a smart and funny performance with the market conventions. More recently, during Work Hard / Play Hard, he came up with a post-capitalistic story in NOT MY PIECE.

By playing with clichés and quotes from our everyday life Holiday on Stage sparks a controversial mirror situation concerning politics, human economics and cyber-feudalism.

We can’t get away from it: the financial crisis is very evident and our prosperity is under threat. People are losing their morale and the number of migrants looking elsewhere for their well-being continues to increase. Action has to be taken, barriers – both physical and mental – have to be reconstructed.

For this Martin Schick and Damir Todorović examine the mechanisms of power and temptation in our western society. Or put more simply: beauty, luxury and how to retain it.

A mix that will leave a lasting impression: a mix of entertainment, humour, shocking facts and human destiny! (Future Art Magazine).
