An evening on the theme of the art of political speaking.

What is the essence of an ideal speech? What are the pitfalls a speech-writer or speaker should really avoid? What is the correct balance between emotion and reason? How do you ensure that a speech sounds as though it were written by the person delivering it? Following a lecture in which these questions are addressed, prominent Flemish and Dutch speech-writers battle for the honor of having written the best speech.
