Since Mathilde’s and Bea’s previous (much acclaimed!) full albums, we were eagerly waiting for these more-than-music artists to treat us again to whole new audiovisual universes. Et voila, a new tour with new work, stopping in Brussels for a live show above the clouds. Seems like a lovely place to start, no? Let’s dive in together </3

BEA1991, formerly known as BEA, is the moniker of Dutch singer-songwriter Beatriz Colette Hanneke de Rijke. Bea is an Anglo-Dutch mixed media artist with a background in aerial acrobatics (yes, really) who calls herself a polyfocal artist, meaning that next to making wonderfully weird and irresistible pop music, which she releases on her own label BE.AWORLD, Bea also works as an artistic counselor, runs the (very) slow fashion project One Object Shop, and has shot videoclips for the likes of Sega Bodega, amongst even more artistic side quests across different media. Anyways, alllllll the singles dropped in 2025 make us feel like teenagers in love about the (pretty please) upcoming album. But just to be sure, you better catch BEA1991 on stage before she leaves us yearning under the summer stars again.

Mathilde Nobel is a Rotterdam-based artist whose work bridges ethereal sound design with a deconstructed club sensibility – think vocals that are at once angelic (sometimes) and processed (always), combined with fragmented rhythms and cinematic atmospheres. As a self-taught musician, she released her first full-length Founds on Land on Nous’klaer Audio. Next to shows at NL’s finest such as Rewire, Dekmantel, and Draaimolen, it was none other than techno pioneer Marcel Dettmann who remixed four of her tracks, expanding Mathilde’s sound into new sonic territory. Her fresh new full album WIDE AWAKE OPEN is out on Intercept since April 2026, it comes with a special live show involving a ring to modulate visuals (yes, really), and will definitily be in our playlist before, during and after the summer fling heartbreak…
