Blind Spot is a quest to find what scarce traces remain of Epp Kotkas, an Estonian artist who was active in the experimental dance scene of New York in the 60s and 70s, and who worked closely with Yvonne Rainer and Babette Mangolte. The film is based on material discovered by Talve during an intimate and imaginative search through a whole series of archives, desperately in search of any trace of Kotkas. Talve combines fact and fiction to tell the story of Kotkas, who was part of the famous New York art scene yet totally unknown in her home country. An essayistic memory that attempts to reconstruct an unrecorded past.
