Mintzkov & Shun Club Sky Hits Ground

Ray-Ban guitars and Fender sunglasses. Or is it the other way around?

album release, concert
WE 09.10.2013 20:30

This summer Mintzkov opened the main stage at Pukkelpop in a fantastic way (at 11.15 a.m., God help us!). The audience swiftly grasped that the concert was synonymous with a double shot of espresso. One, two, three: AWAKE!
With their talented sound arsenal they’ve filled pretty much every respectable venue. What did we say: every venue? Not (quite) yet!?

We’re exceptionally proud that the band has selected Beursschouwburg (at last!) to present their latest treasure Sky Hits Ground to Belgium’s best audience. The singles sound more Mintzkov than ever and it’s a compliment to frontman Philip Bosschaerts that he has never sued Tom Barman. It’s high time all those comparisons come to an end!

On the occasion of the release Mintzkov is touring several provincial towns in Flanders. But, although we say it ourselves, there’s nothing better than our "Zilveren Zaal" - complete with roof terrace – in the heart of the capital. We’ll welcome you with open arms. That’s a promise!

Weds. 9/10/13 – Beursschouwburg, Brussels
Fri. 8/11/13 – De Kreun, Kortrijk
Sun. 7/10/13- Trix, Antwerp
Fri. 15/11/13 – Vooruit, Ghent

The first thing Mintzkov still calls a promise, has been cutting the grass at Mechelen Football Club for a year. That little private limited company owned by Philip Bosschaerts damn well rocks like a pair of sizeable suspended balls, tightly strapped in boxer shorts.
