Dawn Richard + III Syl DJ-set + DDVRKK + Jeune Clyde
Shake that booty! Let's face it: we all want to be Beyoncé.
☞ Dawn Richard (US)
You'll have had to go to a bit of trouble in the last few months in order to avoid Dawn Richard and her futuristic electro-soul-R&B. Dawn is a former member of Danity Kane and Diddy’s Dirty Money, so you may know her in several different guises.
Although this avant-R&B artist only occasionally puts out a new (extremely good) number, it seems that everyone has suddenly discovered her. As we have! So what do we do about it? We invite Dawn for a day on our roof terrace. The American eye-catcher is booked to perform at all kinds of festivals, but with us, you can see her work for free. Take advantage of it and bring along your dancing derrière – you're going to need it!
☞ III Syl (BE)
Energy and eclecticism are the perfect words to describe a DJ set by Ill Syl, constantly in search of the most diverse of musical combinations. Do you want to communicate with Ill Syl? That will be through the speakers! For this lady, sound is a language. Ill Syl is part of the Girls Heart Brussels team, and she has been guest DJ with Clit Clap, Tropical Boobs, the Extract Festival (Sweden) and the Afro Is/To the Future Film Festival.
☞ DDVRKK (BE)
DDVRKK (also known as LUVGANG) grew up in the 1990s, a teenager obsessed with LA’s G-Funk, NYC’s grimy rap, ATL’s Dirty South and the mystical rap from Cleveland and Memphis. Since 2013, she has set her album collection loose, onto the turntables. DDVRKK floods your ears with phonk, trap and wavy rap. Yippieee!
