The person behind VIOLENCE is the American Olin Caprison, who underwent a transformation, from drummer in a death-metal band to a fascinating multi-instrumentalist. He composes, produces and is a purebred performer who can count himself amongst the protégés of Mykki Blanco and Yves Tumor. He intersperses 'going on tour' with writing scores for multimedia performances.

Compositions by VIOLENCE are known for their complexity. Different styles of music are combined in a single number. Lyrics by VIOLENCE like to explore the repressive nature of history, exploring our collective memory and setting out in search of statements that are created by what we remember. He's a philosophical creature, this VIOLENCE.

For us, he comes to introduce his newest album (released on PTP) with a live show that is synonymous with a hugely electrifying performance with guitar and vocals. It all sounds better in English. Come see!

Borusiade

Borusiade, otherwise known as Miruna Boruzescu, has called herself a DJ since 2002. She was one of the first of the women Romanian artists, with a passion for music. Her sound? It is dark, with heavy basses and obsessive, in-your-face melodies. If we had to give the child the name, we would call it Dark Disco, EBM, minimal wave and house, with a sniff of acid. Only recently, Borusiade has made Berlin her home base, the Walhalla for brilliant producers. She meets and frequently plays alongside Mathias Aguayo, Gorbachev and Ana Helder.
