Uwalmassa is the name by which DIVISI62, a Jakarta-based sound and visual arts label, composes and performs music. The collective combines, mixes and intertwines various acoustic instruments with electronic synths in an intuitive and fluid way, letting the Indonesian musical tradition of Nusantra shine through. The result is a possible yet enigmatic future for this living tradition.
