3D-printed flutes and opera vocals are just two of the elements with which this Polish Londoner dissolves the boundaries of time and space.
Wojciech Rusin is an Polish audiovisual artist based in London. He draws inspiration from alchemical and Gnostic texts, from choral music of the early Renaissance, and from Eastern European mythologies. While studying at Goldsmiths, he began reworking traditional flutes and other reed instruments with 3D modeling technologies, and these unique objects provide his equally unique sound. His debut album The Funnel LP was released on Akashic Records in April 2019, and Syphon on AD93 in February 2022. His music has been featured on BBC Four and in a Loewe fashion show, and he has worked for The National Theatre, The Southbank Centre and National Theatre Wales.
